Reiki is a gentle Japanese healing practice that helps reduce stress, support relaxation, and encourage overall wellbeing. During a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above the body to help support the flow of energy.
Reiki is based on the idea that life force energy flows through everyone. When this energy is balanced, we are more likely to feel calm, healthy, and connected.
The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words:

Rei – meaning universal wisdom or spiritual guidance

Ki – meaning life force energy
Together, Reiki means spiritually guided life force energy.
This is a wonderful modality that can be used with all beings; animals and people alike.
Hello, and welcome to my website! My name is Lara, and I am based in Purton, Wiltshire.
My journey into Reiki began like so many others, because I had a poorly horse and when conventional veterinary methods were no longer effective, I tried some alternative methods to help her. The main and most effective I found was Reiki, and so my journey began. I've since developed my knowledge and skills and now offer Reiki to equines, humans and small animals.
