An Introduction to Reiki Level 1 Training – One-Day Course

Discover the foundations of Reiki and begin your journey into energy healing with this comprehensive one-day Reiki Level 1 training introduction. 

Suitable for complete beginners, this course introduces the history, principles, and practice of Reiki in a supportive, small group environment.

Throughout the day, you will receive your Reiki Level 1 attunements and learn how to channel Reiki energy for self-healing to support the well-being of yourself, your family, friends, and pets. 

The course includes practical training in Reiki hand positions, self-treatment techniques, grounding practices, and guided hands-on experience giving and receiving Reiki (we will also be able to offer reiki to animals, time permitting).

By the end of the course, you will feel confident using Reiki in your daily life to promote relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. 

An Introduction to Reiki Level 1 certificate is provided upon completion.

No prior experience is required although I would advise you begin a meditation practice before the course date (please reach out If you need help with this).

I’m really excited to be offering my Reiki Level 1 – Usui First Degree training at Hummingbird Healing Fields.

I recently attended a Kundalini Yoga workshop at Hummingbird and, after experiencing the space and the Energy Enhancement System for myself, I knew I wanted to bring one of my Reiki trainings here.

Why Reiki in the EE System?

The Energy Enhancement System™ generates a coherent field of scalar waves and biophotonic patterns that interact with the body at an informational and energetic level. It does not force change or stimulate from the outside; rather, it provides a resonant environment in which the body can naturally re-organise and self-regulate.

Many people report feeling the energy immediately upon entering the studio, often describing a sense of calm, clarity or deep relaxation within minutes. Significant shifts can occur even within a single two-hour session. At times changes can feel profound, even remarkable, yet specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed, as everyone's experience is individual.

For me, this makes Hummingbird a special environment in which to teach and experience Reiki.

We'll spend six hours together within the EE System, giving us plenty of time to settle into the space, learn, practice, give and receive Reiki and you will receive your attunements.

This will be a small group of 6 and there are just 2 spaces left!

The study will consist of a pre-read sent two weeks prior to the 30th October, so you will have a chance to understand some of the theory before we meet.

Reiki first degree focuses on self-healing, although you will learn to give Reiki to others, you won't be able to charge or practice professionally - that comes with (Level 2) Second Degree.

Reiki is a beautiful energy healing technique that originally came from Japan, where the Reiki Master Teacher, attunes students to the Reiki energy, alongside teaching them how to treat themselves and others.
